Chickens, in my opinion one cannot have a true farm without some chickens. Of course I couldn't be satisfied with just any old chickens, I wanted something unusual, something to enjoy watching as well as providing me with eggs. So I went on my search in the Spring. A trip to the local feed store ended with them sending me to another one of their stores where I could find unusual chickens. The chicken center was run by a man with the appropriate nickname of "Rooster". He was kind enough to walk me through his web site and helped me place my orders. As luck would have it, my search ended up with not only a wonderful variety of chickens, but with the addition of a wonderful man in my life, my husband Brian.
